Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, may not be the most famous capital in Europe, but it is not a bad reason, if you think deeply: prices are not as high as in London or Paris and monuments and streets are not that crowded!

Vinum is back. Incontri d’autore, Artistic meetings, that’s the theme of Vinum 2010, the event dedicated to wine in Alba, thw city near Cuneo worldwide famous for the extraordinary white truffle.
Three weekends are scheduled for the 34th edition of Vinum: 17-18 April, 24-25 April and 1-2 May. This will be a totally new edition with not only wine tasting, but also culture, history and architecture.
There will be three spaces, which will enable wine lovers to experience the town center of Alba, with boutiques and shops open for this special occasion. No more tastings in the streets and squares, but in relaxing places where visitors can better appreciate all the wines offered.
Carnival is in the air and we want to show you a different kind of holyday that combines carnival and sea. Where? In the Canary Islands, Tenerife and Gran Canaria every year carnival is a very important event as picturesque and representative of the spirit and traditions of the Canario people.
Every year there are events, exhibitions, concerts and parties, linked in a double way with local traditions and the stereotype of Brazilian parades. In the whole Canary Islands archipelago each edition is organized by the Canaria Carnival Community, so that the events are programmed also in the other “minor” islands as Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, La Palma, El Hierro and La Gomera.
On 31 January in Berlin the Lange Nacht der Museen, the Long Night of Museums will take place. In this special occasion, museums are open from 6 pm until 2pm. Last year 150.000 unique visitors have visited museums in Berlin.
The event is very popular with Berliners and tourist and it will be also rebroadcasted in the summer, the last Saturday of August, when visitors do not miss a chance to visit city museums in the freshness of night.
For the Long Night of Museums you can buy a combined ticket (Kombiticket) that costs 15 €. It lets you visit all the museums thanks to the good transport system of Berlin.
